ALEX EISCHEID
Hi, I’m Alex Eischeid, an award-winning conceptual photographer based in Oklahoma. My work primarily revolves around womanhood and what it means to be a woman in today’s society. I love going against the norm, creating images that are packed with quirkiness and wonder. I often hear that my photos leave viewers dissecting every single detail in the carefully planned concepts I create. I believe that vulnerability in my work allows for a deeper, more meaningful connection with the audience. If I had to describe my work in three words, it would be light, storytelling, and authenticity.
As an educator at heart, I’ve developed several online photography courses over the years, covering topics like creative self-portraiture, posing, creative off-camera lighting, and conceptual photography. My passion for teaching comes from wanting to help other artists discover and develop their own personal and artistic voice.
When I’m not pushing the boundaries with my unique concepts, you can usually find me hanging out with my supportive husband and our two beautiful kids. I also enjoy live music, a good glass of wine, and golfing with my girlfriends (but let’s not talk about my handicap!
